Kathleen Steffler has been a proud resident of Strathroy for over 35 years, where she raised her family and built lasting connections within the community. She is the loving mother of three adult children—Michael, Matthew, and Holly—and a proud grandmother to four grandsons: Jack, Ricky, Walter, and Henry. Family has always been at the heart of her life, and her experiences have shaped her commitment to supporting her community.

 

Her connection to hospice care is deeply personal. When her late husband, Rick, spent his final days at Lisaard House in Cambridge due to the lack of local availability, she witnessed firsthand the importance of compassionate end-of-life care. Since Rick’s passing, Kathleen and her family have been passionately dedicated to advocating for and supporting the establishment of a hospice in the Strathroy area, ensuring that families in their community have access to the care and dignity they deserve during life’s most challenging moments.
